Electronic Offertory Giving with Faith Direct
I would encourage you to consider Faith Direct for your parish financial support. Just as electronic payments enable a person to make mortgage payments or pay utility bills automatically each month, they make possible the same regularity in fulfilling your commitment to assist St. Mark in its material needs, even if for some reason you are unable to attend Mass on a particular Sunday.
The choice to participate in Faith Direct is entirely yours, but if you choose to do so, your offertory giving in this form would begin the month after Faith Direct receives your enrollment. You can enroll by completing the enclosed form and returning it to Faith Direct or by going online to www.faithdirect.net and using our parish code: IN224. With online enrollment, you can log in to Faith Direct’s secure website at any time to view your account and gifts and make adjustments if necessary. Faith Direct will provide you with a personalized “offertory card” to put in the Sunday collection, if you wish, as a visible sign of your support. Faith Direct will also send you a detailed statement of your donations at the end of the year for tax purposes.
Maintaining the financial health of our parish is every parishioner’s responsibility to the best of his or her ability, even in uncertain times. Your gifts enable us too provide vital services and operate useful programs to advance Christ’s saving work in our area. I believe that Faith Direct can help us improve our ability to carry on this work. The parish Finance Council and I agree that this program, with its state-of-the-art security measures, appears to be promising for our parish’s future. Please consider joining it.
