Nocturnal Adoration

"When we are before the Blessed Sacrament, let us open our heart;
our good God will open His. We shall go to him; He will come to us...
It will be like a breath from one to the Other.
"

- St. John Vianney

Nocturnal Adoration Society is an association of Catholics dedicated to prayer before the Eucharist for the praise of God and for the needs of the world.  Its purpose is to unite the members in prayer before the exposed Sacrament during the hours of the night. St. Mark members spend one hour a month, in hourly shifts, during the hours of the night in common prayer and periods of silent prayer.  Currently, the chosen night is the first Friday of each month. Prayer shifts begin at 7:00 p.m. and change each hour until the closing prayer at the end of the 6:00 a.m. shift.
